our origin story
Artisanal Consulting was established on a simple principle: quality over quantity. We’re not interested in becoming a large agency, or even the next global “boutique”—we’re fiercely independent and the sweater punk in us would never allow it. Like the small-batch, expertly-crafted artisanal goods that we covet in our personal lives, we’re only interested in doing exceptional work that makes you look good and us proud.
Artisanal Consulting was founded by Andrea Marker, a Midwesterner based in Los Angeles who has made a career out of doing things her parents told her not to do as a kid: watching too much TV and playing video games. She’s been a researcher, strategist, and product marketer at Hulu, DIRECTV, and AT&T, and led entertainment + tech insights divisions at Ipsos, MarketCast, and Penn Schoen Berland. She once inadvertently sparked an Instagram feud between Tyrese and The Rock, for which she is sorry not sorry.
